Whatever next for our great leader?
Lord Peter Mandelson was recently sacked from his role as UK ambassador to the US.
This was another one of those spectacularly misjudged and catastrophic appointments that are becoming the hallmark of Sir Keir Starmer, despite the fact that the envoy’s intimate friendship with the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was well documented. In a letter that recently came to light Mandelson called Epstein “my best pal” and notwithstanding the facts of the deep and loving nature of the Epstein/Mandelson relationship Sir Keir stood in Parliament and stated that Mandelson had his full confidence. Which of course was hot on the heels of the late Housing Secretary and Deputy PM Angela Rayner also receiving his full confidence before she was forced to resign.
New facts have emerged that Starmer knew the Foreign Office had asked Mandelson questions about the emails before he defended him at PMQ’s. In any event, given that he has a bit of a record of being sacked from government, the seemingly indestructable Mandelson has fallen from grace once again and one can only wonder why Starmer chose him for the role in the first place?
Inspired by these events this latest farcical and humiliating episode by the Prime Minister and his Government have given Not Working People the idea for a new track…..
Incredibly just when it seems that things couldn’t get any worse, and the way things are going, who knows there may be another in the pipeline rather soonish from the man and his team who just keep on giving. Another candidate to get the full confidence of the Prime Minister in the past few hours is his right hand man and Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney who was advised by a Labour Lawyer to describe £740,000 of “hidden” donations that were used to get Starmer to the top of the Labour Party and take over from Jeremy Corbyn as an “admin error”.
Once again with this Government Of Service, there are more questions than answers at this point in what is a very serious, and potentially criminal scandal.
Until next time
